“How much does GMB optimization cost?” is one of the most common questions we get. Quotes in India vary enormously, from ₹999 packages advertised on social media to agency retainers of ₹50,000 a month. Here is how to make sense of them.
These are broad ranges we see in the market for a single location, not fixed rules:
| Service | Common range | What it usually covers |
|---|---|---|
| Basic setup | ₹1,000 to ₹5,000 | Creating the profile, basic details, a few photos |
| Full one-time optimization | ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 | Category research, services, photos, NAP cleanup, citations |
| Monthly management | ₹3,000 to ₹15,000 a month | Posts, photos, reviews, citations, tracking, reports |
| Suspension recovery | Often a separate fee | Diagnosis, fixes, evidence, appeal |
Do not compare prices; compare what changes. Ask for a list of monthly tasks, look at your own performance tab before and after, and track calls, direction requests and website clicks. A ₹5,000 service that brings ten extra customers a month is cheap. A ₹1,000 service that does nothing is expensive.
No lock-in, and you stay the owner of your profile. For what monthly work should include, read GMB management services. For a complete checklist, see GMB optimization checklist.
One-time optimization commonly ranges from a few thousand rupees to around ₹15,000. Monthly management commonly ranges from about ₹3,000 to ₹15,000 for a single location, depending on competition and scope.
Very cheap packages often include little real work, or rely on risky shortcuts such as fake reviews and bulk directory submissions.
In competitive categories and cities, usually yes, because rankings depend on continuous activity. In low-competition areas, a one-time setup and your own weekly routine may be enough.
Usually not. Google Ads spend and management are separate from Business Profile optimization.
